Fat Injection to Cheeks

Fat injection to cheeks is a minor procedure wherein fat cells are extracted from the body (usually stomach or hip areas) and re-inserted into the cheeks. It is expected that some of the fat injected will be re-absorbed, while the rest remains almost permanent. This procedure can be done in-office using local anesthetic.

Most patients have only a moderate amount of swelling afterwards. Everyone reacts differently, with most of the swelling subsiding in a week or so, and "final results' in 1-2 months.
