Plastic Surgery Reality Show – Celebrity Mistresses

In what is perhaps the craziest reality show premise yet, the supposed mistresses of celebrities Tiger Woods, Ashton Kutcher and Reggie Bush will be focused on in a show called “Celebrity Mistresses Starting Over” where they will receive plastic surgery in aims to “start over, reinvent themselves, find true love, and live happily ever after”.

Among the mistresses are two of Tiger Woods gal pals, Joslyn James and Jamie Jungers, Reggie Bush’s supposal “mistress” January Gessert, and Ashton Kutcher’s alleged fling, Brittany Jones. The girls will be getting everything from Botox to butt lifts.

Cosmetic Surgery seems to be the new trend in reality shows with Mistresses being preceded by Bridalplasty on E!.

Celebrity Plastic Surgery- Did Demi Moore Get Plastic Surgery?

For a while now there has been lots of speculation involving the youthful look of  48 year old Demi Moore, and recently, according to numerous websites including celebritydirtylaundry.com, it is stated that she has spent over $300,000.00 on a complete overhaul which included liposuction, breast implants and facial procedures. Although Demi hasn’t admitted to getting anything cosmetic done, she has in the past admitted to putting blood sucking leeches on herself to “detoxify her blood”. She also once told David Letterman, “I feel like I’ve always been someone looking for the cutting edge things that optimize your health and healing.” By doing and saying things like that it wouldn’t be a far stretch to believe she has had plastic surgery to maintain her fresh faced appearance.

Facelift Confession- Boris Becker, Tennis Champ

Wimbeldon Champion Boris Becker made the announcement today that he has undergone facial plastic surgery , and gotten a facelift at the age of 43.  When asked how he remains so youthful by Daybreak’s sports presenter Dan Lobb, Becker shocked his fans by stating that he went under the knife to maintain his fresh faced look (he also attributed his new look to “coloring his hair”) .

As we reported before more men and looking to plastic surgery these days to get an edge in the workplace and for overall self esteem. It is no longer all about women. Boris Becker looks great and although 43 is pretty young, it has been reported that men come in for surgical procedures at a much younger age than women start. Interesting isn’t it?

Plastic Surgery Beauty Pageant!

“Miss Plastic Surgery 2010″ is being held oddly enough not in Beverly Hills, where plastic surgery reigns,  but in Budapest, Hungary. The contest is only for those women who have had cosmetic enhancements and have the medical paperwork to prove it.

Judges will focus on their beauty while a panel of medical professionals will judge the quality of the plastic surgery. The winner will then go on to compete for the title of Miss Plastic Surgery Universe.

Cosmetic Surgery is not “banned” from traditional pageants, yet those with numerous procedures would most likely not be accepted. A pageant like this might make those contestants who have had many procedures feel a bit more welcome and  have a chance to be a Queen. A Plastic Surgery Queen.

Marie Osmond’s Oprah Appearance

Marie Osmond’s appearance on Oprah has been highly anticipated, as it is the first time she opens up about her sons tragic suicide. Among that though, more talk of her having had plastic surgery has come up as the actress/singer appears to have had work done to her face. OC vs Beverly Hills Housewives- Plastic Surgery

Beverly Hills or Orange County? Which clan of Housewives are the cosmetic surgery queens? Tough call right? Well the new brood is taking the cake for most procedures but not all. When it comes to breast implants, the ladies of the OC beat out Beverly Hills with all but one of them having implants (As opposed to the implant count of 2 women on the Beverly Hills season). But when it comes to fillers and injectables, Beverly Hills wins that race. Every cast member has had Botox and/or facial and lip fillers. In addition, Beverly Hills beat out the OC in terms of nose jobs as well. Famed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Payman Simoni, who does not treat any of the cast members, states that the desire to look youthful and natural is definitely prominent in Beverly Hills as he sees many patients who are looking to decrease wrinkles and plump lines.

Orange County is clearly more interested in looking desirable and more substantially enhanced. While women of Beverly Hills are more focused on looking young and “perfected”. The difference in plastic surgery trends across geographic locations is palpable and interesting to say the least.

More Men Getting Botox to Get Ahead at the Office

More men are making their way through the doors of plastic surgeons offices these days with an intent to look younger and less worried. With the recession and people losing their jobs, older men want to do anything and everything to have an edge over their younger competition. The percentages of increase in male brow lifts, facelifts and botox are on a steady rise. The top five male procedures have been rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), breast reduction, otoplasty (ear pinning) , and liposuction. Yet it seems that botox and injectables will soon make the list as looking young and fresh faced seems to be the main desire. What’s more interesting is that men start with procedures much younger than women. The average age women start to look into and get aesthetic procedures is around 40 while men are coming in at around 30. Dr. Payman Simoni sees many male patients in his Beverly Hills office and has definitely seen an increase in men interested in Botox, and lifts.

Lisa Rinna recently admitted to reducing her silicone lip injections. She told People magazine, “My lips started to define who I am, [and] that bothered me”. Audrina Patridge – No Plastic Surgery

According to Monstersandcritics.com Dancing with the Stars contestant and Hills alum says she will not be following in her ex co-star Heidi Pratts footsteps in getting plastic surgery. The 25 year old told the site “It’s important to have your own look and keep what you’re born with, it’s not something I’m going to do any time soon.”

This is an interesting quote since it has been widely speculated that Patridge has had a breast enhancement.
